Shipping USA to Canada

Question

Is it more expensive to ship an item to Canada from Indiana? I've always put 'ship to lower 48 states', but thought about expanding to Canada.

I have wondered about the extra cost.

Thanks for an information.

@grandpasmusic Sorry for the delay in responding, life has been busy.

Yes shipping to Canada costs more. You do have to set up your listing to allow international shipping. I recommend always using calculated shipping> buyer pays.

Personally due to customs issues and the risk of items being lost or damaged in longer distance shipments I recommend only shipping internationally with the eBay International Shipping Program.

Then you only ship to the US hub and your job as a seller is done. If a buyer files a refund request for ANY reason after the item leaves the hub eBay refunds the buyer out of their pocket and you keep the $ for the sale.
