Shipping underpaid
I made a sell for $100 plus shipping, created the shipping label which the buyer paid $14.67 to ship the item. After the item was delivered eBay charged me an additional $63. Can someone please help me understand what happened.

$14.67 wasn't enough to ship the coilovers so USPS billed your account.
If USPS charged you later for additional shipping, it was because the package was either
1) In the wrong USPS packaging
2) Weighed wrong
3) Measured wrong
4) USPS was wrong - you can appeal the upcharge if you are certain you are correct.
If the Packaging says Priority Mail, you have to use Priority Mail rates, not Ground Advantage rates.
If the Packaging say Flat Rate Priority (most of the free boxes at the post office say this), you have to use the higher flat rate priority mail calculations.
Weight - Always round up to the next pound 2 lbs 1 oz = 3 lbs
Measurements - always use a tape measure to measure your box. Do not rely on the printed measurements; they are the inside of the box. You need the outside of the box.
For USPS Round up
12 -1/4" = 13"
14-1/2" = 15"
In the message from eBay with the charge, there is a link to appeal to USPS .
USPS will then review the weights and dimensions of your package by looking at the various photos and weights taken of your package while it was in transit.
If you package was less than 1728 sq in (example 12x12x12) and the weight was correct, your appeal should be approved.
If the box was bigger than say 18x12x8 (1728) the box would be oversized and USPS would charge 'dimensional weight' which is based on the size, rather than the actual weight.
