Shipping tube too small for standard ebay label
Any way to get around this? How can I print a smaller label? Or have to use much larger tubes? Thank you.

OP2 years agoThanks to both of you. Space is at such a premium at the moment. Think I'll try cutting in segments.

Mentor2 years ago@kingsriverboy I am not sure what kind of tube you are using but when I shipped posters in tubes I just wrapped it around the tube so that the bar code was flat on one side.
What is the diameter and length of your tube?

OP2 years agoThanks.Tubes are 2" x 12" long. Afraid that will overlap. Just promotional coke and pepsi paper from the 50's. About the size of a place mat.

Mentor2 years ago@kingsriverboy. Hmmm... my tubes were about 3 inches diameter.
Not sure if 2 inch diameter is too small for the post office.
You are probably going to have to pay an irregular package fee.
Have you considered shipping flat? I've done that with small posters. All arrived safely. I can give you my shipping steps in the morning, on my cellphone right now and one finger typing trying not to wake my hubby.

Cut your labels into manageable segments so that they don't wrap around. Keep related segments together.
For instance, the top block has a QR code, return address, and destination address. The bottom block has the tracking code. Split those and place them side by side. Or, keep the destination and tracking together.
Make sure that your labels will not peel off the roll by, perhaps, taping the edges that go around the roll (they don't like tape on the scan codes).
I always clear-tape over the destination address and the tracking number, but not the bar code.
