SHIPPING TO HI, AK, PR
Hi eBay sellers,
How do you set up shipping on the eBay listing so that buyers from HI, AK, PR will pay the shipping fee ?
We have free standard shipping to 48 lower states, once a while , a customer in one of these territories order, and pay no shipping fee, which is a problem. For example, I just got an order of one full case of calendar cases that is 27 Lbs, shipping USPS GND ADV, the cheaper way, to HI costs $100.60. We can't do that without incurring a big loss after eBay and shipping fee. How do you deal with this ?

Mentor9 months ago@pakpal Your choices are to use buyer pays> calculated shipping so that all of your buyers pay the shipping cost.
OR block shipping to buyers in HI, AK, and PR in account settings OR on your business policies. Let me know if you need instructions on this step.
When you block those locations the eBay International Shipping Program will pick up the shipments that qualify to those locations. I know that HI, AK, and PR are NOT international but eBay has included those locations in the shipping program.
Then you just pay for the Free Shipping to the EIS hub and the buyer pays eBay for the shipping their locations.
This is the option I would use.
