Shipping to Germany???
Hello,
Long story short--I was asked in a group on another site to offer international shipping for an item (I've never shipped internationally before--as I just started selling). My item went up for auction and was purchased by someone in Germany. Rookie mistake--I didn't know Germany had the Lucid ID number requirement. I know, my fault for assuming most European countries would be similar--Anyway, I am not a business, so I don't have a company name or address. I don't have a tax number - I'm literally selling my childhood toys and parents' house items right now. It seems very complicated. I don't plan on ever offering to sell to Germany again after this because it's caused so much stress. Do I really need to register for Lucid and other things just to send one small package? Would it be better for me to just cancel the sale at this point? Thanks in advance.
