Shipping to australia
I have a potential buyer from australia. She is asking i lower the shipping fee which is $17 US because the exchange rate will be over $100 for her in australia. How do i do this? My understanding is that i will just ship it to an ebay hub and ebay will send it to her. Will she be charged the extra amount?

Mentor1 year agoIf you’re using the EIS (eBay International Shipping), there are two parts to what the buyer is paying. The first part is for you shipping to the hub. The other part is for EIS to ship from there to the buyer, and includes the shipping, any customs or VAT fees, plus any taxes. As you can see, there’s nothing you can do about the bulk of those charges, so nothing you can do is going to affect what the buyer ultimately pays.
