Mentor10 months agoIf you do this you lose your seller protection. You need to ship to the address provided on payment. If they want to change the address the best thing to do is to cancel the purchase and relist so they can buy the item again and provide the correct address.

-If you ship to an address other than the one on the original order then you are at risk of losing your Seller protections.
-Message the Buyer and let them know eBay expects you to ship to the address on file and the path of least resistance is for them to message you back to cancel the purchase so they can then update their address and buy the item again.
-Doing that will let you cancel the transaction using the reason "Buyer requested ..." which avoids a strike on your account.
-The other risk of course is say their account address is nearby (adjacent state or closer) but the address they want oy to ship to is the opposite coast, Alaska of Hawaii ... Your label cost could wind up costing MORE then what they initially paid for shipping (unless you offer Free Shipping).
