Shipping through ebay
I accidentally clicked purchase shipping label on one of my sold items. The sale price was $95 and usps label was going to be $87. I quickly canceled it and decided to go to the post office myself. Will Ebay know not to debit my funds once the buyer gets their item?

If you voided the label, you should get the refund in about 3 weeks.
You actually pay quite a bit more at the PO for the same service. Next sale, review your service choice, weight and dimensions and buy that same label for less through eBay, or any online provider.

OP2 years agoI doubt I would pay more than $90 at the PO but I guess we'll find out. Thank you for your answer. Funny how it takes 10 seconds to purchase the label but 3 weeks to get refunded.

I just checked to see what you might have sold that would cost $ 87 to ship ... I see nothing like that and the golf club shows just under $ 17 to ship.
If you purchased a label through eBay you got a discount so going to the Post Office is not going to help you.
I assume you Voided your first label on this page using the pull-down menu on the left and selecting Void?

Complain to the PO about the refund - they are the ones that want to make sure you don't use the label.
I'm sure you can ship a golf club for less than $90 - that is why I suggested checking your settings. While there is a surcharge for long packages, it should only cost $90 is you are using priority instead of ground, have the wrong weight, etc.
