Thank you. Someone in the Virgin Islands asked about me shipping a Sony magnifi mini soundbar and subwoofer. Due to the size and weight, almost 20lbs and 20x20x18, I advised against it as shipping showed it could cost around 100. I wasn't sure if we were allowed to ship electronics.

If you are using eBay International Shipping (EIS), I think the size and price limitations are all that would apply to the export, unless there are importation limitations at the destination countries. I don't believe consumer stereo equipment is ineligible for export.

The US has a $2500 export threshold before more extensive export documentation is required, so EIS exports must be below that threshold because they don't have the ability to process the extra paperwork.

If you allow worldwide shipping, and EIS subsequently blocks some countries because of import limitations, the buyer may still be able to attempt a purchase. But as long as you do not provide alternate international shipping, you can cancel as being a country to which you do not ship.
