shipping small bubble envelops for coins.
When I ship a coin in a 4x7 in bubble envelope eBay charges me $8.20 but the post office only charges $5.10.How do I get reduced shipping on small bubble evvelops

Mentor3 years ago@clthra-18 You should be using 1st class to ship. Then eBay shipping will not cost so much. Not sure why you'd be charged 8.20 unless you are selecting padded flat rate when shipping the envelope which is a priority mail padded flat rate envelope and that would be $8.30.
Keep in mind that 1st class shipping doesn't including insurance. So if you want to insure your item against loss, or damage in shipping then you pay extra for insurance. I just use the "self insurance" method and put a bit aside for possible lost or damaged items. Comes out better for my bottom line in the long run than paying for insurance every time.
If you sell coins that are $20 or under then you can use eBay Standard Envelope. You can't use a padded envelope for this special class of mail. Shipping would then cost $.60 to $1.08 for tracked shipping. This is not regular tracking and only read by the sorting equipment so you have to follow the package guidelines carefully.
