Shipping return address is wrong and I can't figure out how to change it.
When printing shipping labels for items I have sold the return address is my previous address. I have updated my address and I have received items I have bought with no problems. It is only when printing a shipping label does my old address show on it.

Other members have reported that the address correction is not "sticking" unless they do these steps>
ADD a new address and THEN delete the old one in account settings.
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
( only do this for the Shipping and return addresses, not your registration address)

OP2 years agoThanks. I was able to update my "ship from" address. Unfortunately, the printed shipping label still has my old address on it. I guess I'll wait 24 hours and see if it updates.

Mentor2 years agoDid you ADD a new address and then delete the old one? It won't change on the shipping label for this sale if you already purchased the label.

OP2 years agoYes. I did what you said but I had already purchased the shipping label. I'll let the buyer know that if there is any problem to reach out to me first.

Mentor2 years ago@ericb714 I recommend requiring an RMA number for returns. This gives you the opportunity to provide your own shipping label that you purchase from another source such as Pirateship.com so that it will have the correct return address.
Check the RMA box in on this page> https://www.ebay.com/rtn/Return/SellerRules?returnId=0&rmvHdr=false&action=showSellerRulesList
RMA means return merchandise authorization. It can be just any number that you make up. Otherwise the eBay system may go straight to not allowing you to supply your own label.
