Shipping / Return
How do you handle an item that is being returned from the postal service because they could not deliver due to a dog in the yard. They are sending the item back to me. Do I refund, or make the person pay shipping again ?

Mentor1 year agoUsually, the package is kept at the post office, but I assume the carrier couldn't leave a notice if a dog was present. I would use the CONTACT BUYER in the sold transaction and let the buyer know to contact the post office to retrieve the package before it is sent back to you. If it is returned, and the buyer no longer wants the item, you can refund item price only. If the buyer still wants the item, s/he will have to repay to reship.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.
