    Do you think shipping is expensive? It really seems like it to me. Does ebay negotiate contract rates for buyers and sellers?

    If you use ebay shipping to print your shipping labels, you will pay the commercial rate that ebay has negotiated. If you pay at the carrier's counter, you will be paying the retail rate.

    Shipping is expensive and getting worse.


    Yes, eBay offers commercial rates to it's sellers. These rates are much less than what you would pay at the Post Office counter.
