Ten Second Question. Inadvertently my previous address was listed as the mailing address and contacted the Seller immediately about correction of address. They responded with The system will not let me send to an address that is not on file. It autopopulates. Since they have not taken the item to the post office (USPS), isn't it possible to change my mailing address? I have deleted the incorrect address in EBay to prevent future issues. Thank you for your insight.

@richardk1313 If your purchase is being shipped Media Mail, then USPS charges an extra shipping cost when forwarding the package to your new address. Other USPS shipping services will forward for free.

@richardk1313 The seller is required by eBay to ship to the address provided at checkout. Can you file an address correction with the post office, this is the path of the least resistance.

The seller has to cancel the sale as problem with buyers address. Refund you. Relist the item so that you can pay again and put in the correct address at checkout. Sellers are not required to cancel no matter how soon you ask. I personally would do this for a buyer but not all will since they have to refund you out of their own pocket and wait for your money to clear.

The seller has to void the shipping label if they have purchased one and wait 3 weeks to be refunded by the postal service.
