Shipping problem
eBay sellers are starting to use GOFO Express for shipping items to buyers. GOFO Express will only deliver to residential or business addresses. As of this writing, they will not deliver to a US post office, and that's a real problem for me.
I have a PO box and one of the services the post office offers is to accept packages from shippers like UPS and FedEx. My eBay shipping address is the post office address which includes my PO box # stated as "unit xxxxx". Over the years UPS and FedEx have delivered thousands of eBay packages to me at my post office address.
Now, before bidding on or purchasing an item, I have to contact the seller and ask them who their shipping service is. If they reply that it's GOFO Express, I don't bid on or purchase their item.
I hope eBay reads these posts and takes some action like requiring the seller to identify the shipper they will use and not simply state something like "standard shipping"

OP8 months agoThis is an update to my shipping problem post. I had purchased items from 2 sellers. In their item description, the shipping was stated to be "eBay economy shipping". From now on I will not purchase anything from sellers stating this shipping method. I still think eBay should require sellers to specifically state the shipping service they will use. If they don't, I will find and purchase from sellers that do.
