shipping prices issues

Question

I'm I the only one who is getting charged more for shipping when I print labels than I am getting paid? Last 4 items sold the shipping costs have been about 1.50 higher than what the buyer is paying. Is something going on with shipping labels?

The USPS announced major rate changes starting July 12. One of the biggest is for rural zipcodes, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and military bases, the minimum weight is 15.99 Oz. If you have a 4oz package going to any of those places, it will be charged at 15.99oz.

If you use calculated shipping, double check your Account Settings to see if you are passing your eBay discount along to your Buyers.

Those who use Calculated shipping are able to charge a reasonable handling fee.

@rustybiggs08 Are you entering the correct package dimensions and weight on the listing and selecting buyer pays calculated shipping? If yes then as long as you use an eBay shipping label the final label price should be the same.

If this is for USPS labels printed from ebay? If so, they should be exactly the same when using calculated shipping. However, there recently was a price increase, so if the buyer purchased before the increase and you created the label after the increase, that would explain why.
