Shipping out by a certain date
What if I am unable to ship out my item by the date that eBay says. Would I be okay shipping it a week after or do I need to talk to eBay.

Mentor3 years agoAll sellers decide on their handling time. You will receive a defect for slow shipping. I looked at your sold listings and they do not look difficult to pack. In the future, if you cannot ship within the stated handling time, change it. ebay allows you to select same day and up to 30 days.
Use the CONTACT BUYER link in your Sold orders, and let the buyer know when you will be shipping.

Mentor3 years agoYou really need to ship by the date shown. That is based on the handling time you set up when you listed the item. If you don't, you'll receive a ding on your shipping metrics and risk an irate buyer who bid, possibly based on the delivery estimate on the listing and who might be inclined to leave negative feedback or open a case if the item is late.
Talking to eBay won't change any of that.
