Shipping Options
I have a package, 100x3x3 inches. Why does the shipping calculator show me options that are clearly not applicable to the size of the package? For example, the lowest rates it offers are fedex extra large package or fedex large package. These as best I can tell are fixed size boxes.

Mentor2 years ago@ali20000513 The length of the package means it can't be shipped by most shipping methods. UPS would be your best option. You might consider this as a local pick up only item.
Do NOT try and ship it with Fed Ex. Go to Pirasteship.com and checking the UPS shipping prices.
Even with UPS I am not sure if they would add surcharges or not due to the irregular package size. They can add surcharges and bill you later.
Check the UPS site for details or talk to your local UPS store.
