Shipping option I selected was not allowed when the sale was made
When I created the listing for a Gamecube game, I chose the "USPS First Class Large Envelope" shipping option. The cost was $1.35. When the listing was published, it stated that the shipping would be USPS First Class Large Envelope.
However, when the item was sold, it would not allow me to used USPS First Class Large Envelope. The least expensive shipping option offered was USPS Ground Advantage, which was five times more expensive than first class $6.00. Why did this happen?

Mentor4 months agoSince eBay requires a tracking number to prove delivery of the item they do not sell a sipping label without tracking. You can list the item with a service that does not have tracking but you will need to purchase your label from the retail counter at the USPS. Keep in mind that without tracking to prove delivery any case for an "Item not received" will automatically be found in the buyers favor and you will need to fully refund the buyer even if they lie about receiving the item.
