shipping New York USA to Czech Republic
I have a item listed with buyer pays shipping. Received a message from Czech Republic asking if I can ship to Czech Republic. not sure if a scam, post says buyers pays shipping does that include tariff ect, what is involved ?

OP6 months agodoes e.bay still have global shipping ? (is it the same as a forwarding service) who initiates that.

Mentor6 months ago@01nysjdw. The shipping program is different now. It's called the eBay International Shipping Program and you can't sign up for it, eBay opts you in based on a top secret algorithm when they think you're ready.
This new program is much better than the old Global Shipping Program.
With EIS a sellers job is done once the item safely reaches the US hub.
Just suggest to the buyer that they use a US package forwarding service.
It is the best solution for you. Many international buyers use this type of forwarding service.

Mentor6 months ago@01nysjdw. It is risky shipping internationally. If you were to ship internationally then you are responsible for the item arriving safely and on time.
I can tell you how to set up the listing if you really wish to take the risk.
The phone can't ship internationally since it has a lithium battery. When you do sell it be sure to use ground advantage and select hazardous on the label page.
What I recommend is advise the buyer that you don't ship internationally yet since you are a new seller. Suggest that they use a package forwarding service. I know there are many in Delaware and Oregon so he wouldn't be charged state sales tax.
He just provides the address at checkout when he pays.
Your job as a seller is done once the item safely reaches the US address. Reshipping voids the eBay money back guarantee.
