Shipping my item
The buyer purchased the shipping cost and when I go to print out the shipping label, I notice that it has my old address on it . It says that it’s being shipped from Brooklyn and not Manhattan (where I currently reside)
is this going to be an issue?

Yes, fix your address. Here's how:
First: check your addresses for eBay, including:
-- “Registration address†your official address,
-- "Return Address" which prints on the label, and
-- “Ship From Address†which must have the zip/postal code for the post office you use (usually the same, but not always)

Then
There is a 'Edit' button on the lower right-hand side of the Print Shipping Label screen.
- If you don't see something like this to the right on the shipping screen, click the "Show additional shipping options" on the upper right, then look again.
Click the 'Edit' underneath your addresses.
Ship from
This Town OH 4xxxx-xxxx
Return to
Other City OH 4xxxx-xxxx
You'll be able to select the addresses you entered in to your account.

OP8 months agoThank you for all replies.
I changed all of the address tabs to my current address, but the label still shows as my old address when I go to print it .
I don’t see a place to update my “shipping from†address. Could it be because I’m using my cell phone to do this? Do I need to use a desktop screen?
also if the label was already created (because the buyer paid for shipping) will I have to create a new one or is it still able to be changed?

1) You can't change the label you already created. You would need to cancel that label and create a new label to have the return address updated.
My instructions are for the website. It will look like this:
I am not sure if it can be updated on the app. If you have access to website, I would do it that way.

OP8 months agoIf I already created the label, and I have to cancel it, do I have to pay for it again? Or are the same funds from cancelled label get used to repurchase it?

Mentor8 months agoYou'll have to pay again, but you will get a refund of the first label in about 21 days.
If you don't fix the return address, if there is a problem with delivery, your item will be returned to the wrong address and you will lose it.
Changing your address on the App
Get Shipping Label
Click the > to the right of Order Details
Edit Ship From to determine the drop off zip code.
Add a separate Return To address if that applies.

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

You should correct it.
Change your ship from address here - https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses - you probably need to update the others, too.
