Shipping multiple items
So I’m looking at shipping a sound system. I need two labels as it’s going to be shipped in two boxes. So how do you go about putting in the dimensions for both packages it only gives the option for one and how do I get two labels?

To estimate shipping:
If you need to provide a calculated shipping cost when creating your listing, there will be a little work involved because two packages will have a different shipping cost than if combined into one package. One way is to look up the near and far rates for each of your 2 boxes and add the two together. Be sure that you round up the weight and dimensions for each box to avoid surprises. Then look at the rates to find a weight that will simulate the near and far costs of your combined package costs and enter that fake weight as your shipping weight in the listing.
You are not allowed to charge more than is displayed in the listing, so make some effort to ensure your costs are covered. If you feel you need to exaggerate the shipping cost to cover worst case, then add a note to your description that the shipping is worst case and that you will refund any excess shipping collected from the buyer.
To get two shipping labels after the sale:
Enter the dimensions and weight for the first box and purchase a label. Then go back and "print another label" (not "reprint) for the same sale. You may see a warning that you have already created a label, but keep going. Enter the dimensions and weight for your second box and purchase a label.
You will now have two labels with different tracking numbers that will both be assigned to the same sale. Be sure to mark your boxes "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" and make a note of which components are in each box. Let your buyer know what is in each tracked box.

Printing two separate discrete labels is the easy part, you can print two once it Sells. Getting the shipping cost right might be the challenge. If both boxes are big and heavy you can try dimensions of the items together plus the weight ... getting a size and weight for everything for the listing may or may not cover the actual shipment of two boxes ... you can test that theory with the USPS Calculator using the one large box & weight and selecting a zip code far away and then two smaller boxes to the same zip code ... that is what I would do. If the two separate boxes cost more you can ADD the difference as a Handling cost on the listing tool to make up the difference.
