Shipping Multiple Boxes
When I try to calculate my shipping costs on ebay, I cannot find any place that lets me choose how to ship four boxes. I just see an option to ship one box. Is there a way I can combine these four boxes as they are all the same size. I can't find an answer anywhere. The buyer paid money to have it shipped but it was about $75 less than what it will cost. Suggestions?

Mentor1 year ago@clarkmagee You can not ask the buyer for more money than stated on the listing. You will have to absorb the extra shipping cost. You can select get another label after you print the 1st label. You can print up to 5 labels per order.

You can only enter the size and weight of one package in the calculated shipping section. For four boxes I would add part of the shipping price to the item price and the rest as a flat rate.
This is what I do when a listing needs 2 boxes. ( if you need more boxes then you just have to decide how you want to divide the shipping cost)
Weigh and measure both boxes and look up the shipping price to the state farthest from you using this shipping calculator:

Add the shipping cost for the least expensive box to the item price.
Then use buyer pays> calculated shipping for the second box in this section of the quick listing tool:

When you print the shipping labels select Print Another label from the drop down menu next to the item. Your sold listing will then have two tracking numbers. Let the buyer know you are shipping in two boxes that may not arrive the same day.
Or if you are using the Advanced listing tool in Seller Hub then these are the steps.
Go to the shipping section.
Select standard shipping small to medium sized items from the first drop down box.
Next enter your package weight and size.
Under Domestic Shipping select Calculated from the drop menu.
Click on the Plus to enter your shipping service.
You can add a handling cost if you wish, for example you are shipping an item that is breakable and need to pay for bubble wrap, you can add the cost here or include it in the item price.

Mentor1 year agoIf the buyer has already paid you then there is nothing you can officially do since it would violate eBay policy to expect the buyer to pay more than the shipping calculated at the time of purchase.
For future reference there is no way to have eBay calculate shipping with two or more boxes. When I have multiple boxes that need to be shipped I do not use calculated shipping. I go to the USPS website and figure roughly what it will cost to ship the boxes to the farthest zone at the Retail Price and then adjust item price and shipping charge so it is a reasonable split between the two (part of shipping is in the item price). Then I choose flat rate shipping for the shipping charge that I do not place in the item price. When the item sells you can print more than one label for the same order on eBay. What you do is select the choice for "print another label for this order" (Not "reprint "label that would be same exact label, tracking etc ) so you have the label for the other box.
