Shipping mistake through media mail
Hello,
I sent an item that I paid for media mail through USPS. It is a set of bell mallets. They were returned to me from USPS stating that they did not qualify for media mail.
Since I had paid for media mail shipping, would it be possible to refund the media mail charges and then allow me to purchase first class postage so that I can ship the item out and not have to pay much more to ship the item?

I'm afraid not. Your Media Mail label was used. [Labor was expended having to return the package to you.] You're actually lucky that you weren't upgraded to Priority and charged the difference.
Did you really think that bell mallets qualified as 'educational materials'? Just curious.
