Shipping mistake
I sold three items to one customer. Each item was a separate listing. When i went to the PO they printed a label for the first item and when I showed the QR code for the second, I was told they couldn't print a label because it had already been done. eBay gave me the same QR code for three different items and the guy at the PO would not let me tape the boxes together to make "one" package. I went home, repacked everything into one heavier box got a new label from eBay and shipped the box. The new label now doubled my shipping cost. Can I get a refund for the original label even though it was scanned and marked shipped by the PO? They ended up peeling the label off and I actually have it. If I can get a refund, how would I go about doing this?
Thanks for any help any of you can give,
Ed

If usps scanned that label, the USPS won't refund it. You can try this process to see what happens
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

It sounds like the order was combined at payment, that's why eBay can you one QR code. If it's one order number, then it's one shipment by default (though you can request *additional* labels if needed)
