Shipping lithium battery product as hazardous material and eBay money back guarantee
A large lithium battery must ship as a hazardous material according to the post office, Fedex, and UPS. If advertised on eBay as not returnable with the eBay money back guarantee statement appearing on the ad, how will the policy exception that excludes hazardous materials from the eBay guarantee be handled? Who is responsible for removing the guarantee statement from the ad if it does not apply?

Mentor1 year agoWhen a seller lists using a no returns policy, that is only for nuyer's remorse: changed mind, doesn't like it, doesn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. The 30 day ebay Money Back Guarantee still applies if the buyer states Not as Described/damaged. The buyer can file a returns request and the seller must accept it and pay for return shipping. It can then be returned using a ground service back to the seller.
