shipping limitations on air guns
I want to buy a low powered air rifle, but the eBay system checked my ZIP code and concluded that state or local law prohibits shipping air rifles to residents. I've checked, and the state, county, and township do govern air rifles, but only to the extent that they limit where you can shoot them: they don't limit shipping to residents.
I asked for a call back and promptly received a call. But the agent wasn't able to tell me anything other than the red flag that came up when I tried to buy it: air rifles cannot be shipped to my location.
Who do I call or what do I need to do? Arranging a transfer through a federal firearms licensee takes time and adds cost.
