Shipping large heavy items
Hi,
im selling a transmission that weighs about 100lbs and I was wondering how do I ship it after I made the sale. I can't put it in a box and simply ship it obviously so it must be put on a small pallet i believe or a wooden box and picked up from my house. I need help with this please thanks

Mentor2 years agoThis type of item should be listed for Local Pickup Only. Then you can let the buyer decide how he is going to pick it up or ship it. Otherwise, you will need to learn about freight shipping, which is not cheap.
If it does sell for local pickup, just make sure you get the pickup confirmation code and enter it to be sure it is valid before letting the buyer or his agent take it.
