Shipping Large (50 books at 75 lbs) amount of books

What is the optimal way to ship a large quantity of books (50 books at 75 pounds) in one order? What service, and how do you set it up on Ebay as a fixed price to the Seller?

In addition to what @lisa5768 has provided the only potential issue is if the two boxes of books are returned to you via an official claim in eBay. eBay ONLY generates ONE shipping label on their return flow. You would have to purchase and send the other label to the customer if you want both boxes of books back.

You can ship more than one box for a single order rather than one large heavy box. If all the books qualify for USPS media mail that is likely the cheapest option but it can be slow delivery. USPS has a 70 pound weight limit per box.

If you need 2 or more boxes the eBay Calculated Shipping will not work for multiple boxes. Figure the cost of each box to the farthest zone, you can add the numbers together and list it as Flat Rate shipping for the total amount.

If they are very different prices you can add the cheaper box into the item price and enter the other into the calculated shipping option.

You can then buy separate labels for each the boxes once your ready to ship. Make sure you add to your description that you will be shipping in multiple boxes. Once you print the first one then go back to the order and in the menu select print another label.
