shipping labels adjustments
Has it ever happened to you that once you shipped a package you sold, there's a "shipping label adjustment"?
It has happened to me several times lately with UPS with large packages, and the "adjustment" is always around $100.
I have checked the dimensions and weight of such packages, and everything is okay. The last time, they added 2 inches more to the dimensions, and the previous time, they added around 6 inches; there's no way a cardboard box can change dimensions that much.
One of the times, the package was damaged so badly that one of the parts inside the box slipped out and was damaged. I guess that was the time they added the 6 inches to the dimensions, but they damaged the box so much that it would be their fault.

Mentor1 year ago@hrivera-mx. Ups and FedEx are known for adding surcharges. Some of the charges are valid and stated on their websites. However some are not correct.
If you plan on using UPS in the future I recommend buying the label form Pirateship.com. They will help you with surcharge disputes and insurance claims. They charge the same price for shipping as eBay.
