Shipping labels
I check with my local post office on the shipping labels I print and use for sending packages and they tell me they are good but ebay keeps telling me I underpay.

Mentor8 months ago@pasm4930. Are you using Priority flat rate boxes? If yes then you have to use a Priority Flat label.
Or if using a Priority box you can't use a ground advantage label.

OP8 months agoYes a priority mail box and I select priority mailing for shipping. I asked my PO if it was correct for the box when they scanned it and they said yes.

Mentor8 months agoIs it a small flat rate box? I'm thinking that it must be since that's the only smallish box.
Are you using a flat rate shipping label?
Fyi.. A small brown box would cost less to ship using Priority than flat rate since the item isn't heavy. You may also consider shipping your less expensive cards using ground advantage.
Postal clerks are not always right and they know that if there is a mistake that USPS will bill you.
It is USPS billing you, eBay just handles the billing for them.

Mentor8 months agoAre you weighing your packages and entering the accurate dimensions for each package before printing the shipping label? If so, the shipping label should be accurate. When USPS charges you for underpayment, they give you the reason. What reason was given?

OP8 months agoI use priority mail and the small box since I'm only shipping a card it weighs nothing all are the same weight and dimensions but I get underpaid on some and not others. I don't see anything from USPS just from ebay saying USPS says it was underpaid

Mentor8 months agoThe USPS has several small Priority boxes. Some are flat rate, one price, regardless of weight. There are others they are charged by weight. I have both when I was shipping using priority, but now I only ship using ground advantage.
It sounds like you may be using a small flat rate priority box, but charging the buyer by weight, and printing that shipping label, and that is why you are underpaying postage.
