Shipping label shipping from address is wrong

Question

I have changed my address to the correct address on my account. But the shipping label on something that I am selling is showing my old address. How do I talk to a human at Ebay?

Once you've added your addresses in settings, you need to select the correct return when you are printing the label.

On the website

There is an 'Edit' button on the lower right-hand side of the Print Shipping Label screen.

- If you don't see something like this to the right on the shipping screen, click the "Show additional shipping options" on the upper right, then look again.

Ship from

This Town OH 4xxxx-xxxx

Return to

Other City OH 4xxxx-xxxx

Click the 'Edit' underneath the addresses.

You'll be able to select the addresses you entered into your account.

-- Return Address is what prints on the label

On the App,

Get Shipping Label

Click the > to the right of Order Details

Edit Ship From to enter the drop off zip code.

Add a separate Return To address if that applies.

-- Ship From Zip prints at the very top of the label by the postage.

You'll want to cancel the label with the wrong return address.

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

Hi @remltr

You have 5 addresses to work with as a Seller and when you change one you have to ADD the new one and then DELETE the old one. The Edit function is not reliable.

The issue with your current sale is that if a return happens then it will be sent back to the Return address you have on file. You may want to change that one ASAP. Addresses Settings

Offhand I do not know if eBay will associate the new Return address with your current transaction.
