shipping label refund

Question

As a seller I had a return request opened. The seller did not return the item before the deadline and the case was closed in my favor. About a week after the case was closed, I received a message stating the item was shipped. I have not received the item but was charged for the shipping label. All of this was done after the case was closed. How do I contact eBay regarding this. i believe I am being scammed.

I would wait a few days to see if you actually receive the item.

Once a case is closed, the Buyer should no longer have access to the return label. If they had already printed the return label, the post office should reject it and return it to the Buyer.

If you have the tracking number, you can go on the USPS site and request tracking updates.

I'm not sure why you would have been charged for an invalid label.

If this doesn't resolve itself by say, Wednesday, you can contact eBay via chat or a call back.
