Shipping label is cheaper than what the buyer pays, by alot
Other than faulty scales, is there any other reason that my shipping label is much cheaper than the shipping cost the buyer paid? I sell clothes and ship with poly mailers, so that factor is always consistent. And the difference is dollars, not a few cents. ex. Before shipping the package, I verified the weight and dimensions of the package from my posting to the actual order. It was the same. But, the order showed the buyer paid $10.25 for shipping, my label cost was $7.35. I'm not interested in charging way over for shipping. A few cents is fine, not a few dollars.
I'm stumped. Thanks for any help you can give.

Mentor2 years agoYou have a choice of charging your buyers the retail usps prices, or your discounted price. You are charging the retail price. To give your buyers your discount, edit the shipping discount settings here -

Charging the retail rate gives you $ to pay for packaging, as well as the % that eBay takes from the shipping.
