Shipping Label for USPS Small Flat Rate Box
Someone please explain to me why Ebay charged me $9.21 for a shipping label when I listed a ring that I shipped USPS Flat Rate at 4 oz, from Ohio to Prattville, AL, not Timbuktu. I thought that based upon the weight of the item at 4oz, and the dimensions of the Small Flat Rate box at 9x6x2, the label would cost me $4.38. I need to understand so that I can adjust my pricing to accommodate this lunacy.

You set up your shipping using two different USPS services. The 4 oz rate you used is for USPS Ground Advantage, however you chose a Flat rate box which is Priority Mail. All Priority mail boxes must have Priority Mail labels, you can not use a ground advantage label on them.
