shipping label fees
Buyer paid for shipping. yet when I got label, I was also charged for shipping. I am the seller. is my first time using eBay. instructions not clear? Who keeps the double payment...eBay? how can I get refunded what I was charged because Buyer paid already. I did have it set up for buyer to pay shipping. today is Jan 21 2026

Mentor8 months agoBuyer pays for shipping charges (through Ebay). YOU pay for the shipping label so you can ship the item to the buyer. The money that the buyer paid for the shipping charges will be part of your Ebay payout from your sale.

The buyer pays you the shipping and you use that to purchase the label. The buyer nor eBay purchases the shipping label.
The buyer's payment to eBay includes the item, the shipping you set on your listing, and any tax they owe. eBay takes their selling fees out and sends you the balance.

OP8 months agoeBay took my credit card payment AND deducted the buyers payment from my proceeds.Â
