shipping label fee deducted from sale when buyer paid for shipping
my buyer paid for shipping so why is the price of the label coming out of my sale fee?

OP11 months agothanks for your help! I just found the total breakdown. The problem was that I didn't realize how much was being taken out the final value fees. (It was very stupid of me-i'm very embarrassed ðŸ™)

Mentor11 months agoDon't be too embarrassed. Many newer sellers have made the same mistake in not knowing the amount of the Final Value Fees that are charged for your sale.

Because you will receive the money the buyer paid for shipping when eBay releases your funds ... minus fees. [Sellers must pay for the shipping label up front because they are the one who is buying the label.]

You should have received whatever money the buyer paid ... minus any tax and eBay's Final Value fees. How much do you feel you were shorted?
When you purchased the shipping label ... did you opt to have the payment taken from your pending funds OR from PayPal? [Those options are shown at the very bottom of the screen when you purchase a label.]
