Hello I had made a sale on Ebay and new to me this 'shipping label" was created. I was unable to see the buyers complete address because it wanted me to be charged and print this label. I use my own shipping label. I was charged $11.13 for this "shipping label" that I did not use. Also I can not add a tracking number for this item that I had already shipped because of not using this "shipping label and my funds won't be released because it looks like I didn't ship the item. How do I cancel this shipping label that has been created so that I can enter the tracking and receive my funds?

Mentor2 weeks ago · Edited@copperking100 I want to clarify... this is such a new program that we Mentors are just learning about it ourselves. While the advice that @rfmtm and @lisa5768 gave is excellent it only applies to regular shipping labels.
I see that this sold listing has https://www.ebay.com/itm/137748144314 Standard Tracked Shipping which is eBay's new Ship with eBay shipping program. A prepaid label is automatically issued.
Shipping labels are automatically issued based on the package weight and dimensions you provide in the listing so EVEN when offering Free to the buyer shipping it is VERY important to include this information.
You selected FREE to the buyer shipping on the listing that means that you will pay the actual shipping costs.
eBay Shipping labels do cost less than at the post office. It is best to use eBay labels so you have better seller protection too.
Also when your item/ account is opted in to the Ship with eBay program you can NOT enter your own offsite tracking number for the shipment.
Ship with eBay Labels are not voided, the BUYER will be refunded for an unused label automatically if the listing had buyer pays shipping. "If you decide not to use the prepaid label, your buyer will be refunded automatically for the unused prepaid label if they paid for shipping. "
If the listing had " FREE SHIPPING" the Seller is NOT refunded for the unused label. I recommend contacting customer service to see if you can get a courtesy refund for the label since you were opted in to this program with no notice of how it works.
"If you offered free shipping but didn't use the prepaid label provided, you will not be reimbursed for the costs of purchasing your own label or for the unused prepaid label."

Contact Customer service to ask about a refund on the shipping label you are not using.

Then Type PAYOUT in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information) I feel that this is the best option to get past the bots as it does affect your bottom line.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

To cancel the unused shipping label go to your shipping labels page and find the unused label. In the drop down actions menu is the option to void the label. You have 28 days to void USPS, UPS, and FedEx labels. eBay Standard Envelope labels are non-voidable once they have been printed. If it was a USPS label it will take up to 21 days for them to verify it was not used and send your refund. More details on this page.

Once the label is canceled you can go to the order and in the actions menu is the option to add tracking. You can add the correct number to the order.
If the item has already been delivered it may not speed up your funds since you are supposed to add the tracking before delivery has happened. You may need to wait the full hold time for your funds.
