Shipping label created B/S
Why does ebay and many other online selling factories, automatically list a purchased item as "shipped" when only the shipping label has been created. How is that shipped? The shipper (UPS, USPS, etc.) do not have the item to be shipped yet, and the seller has simply created a shipping label declaring his intention to ship when he gets around to it. Ebay: you need to update how you inform buyers that their purchased item has shipped. Creating a shipping label is NOT shipped. Shipped is when the shipper receives the item and it is no longer in the hands of the seller. Ebay continues to suck on this subject.

No, I don't think so. Buyers have the Estimated Delivery date/range. Ideally, the buyer has taken into consideration the ED date on the listing before s/he makes the purchase, and if he didn't then he should have. Then, whenever the seller gets the item into the hands of the carrier is irrelevant ... as long as it gets to the buyer by the ED date.
