If the authentication number isn’t on the label, nothing gets rejected right away, but it can slow things down.
When it arrives at PSA, they may not be able to match it to your order immediately. It can sit in a “we need to figure this out” pile while they try to connect it using your name, address, or what’s inside the box.
Most of the time it still gets sorted out, just with a delay.
If it’s already on the way, keep an eye on tracking. Once it shows delivered, give it a bit, and if you don’t see movement, reach out to PSA with your tracking number and submission details so they can match it faster.
Next time, just make sure the submission/authentication number is on the label and also inside the package. It saves a lot of waiting.
