Shipping Label

I need some help with this. If I sell a product and set it up so that the customer pays for shipping, eBay still deducts the cost of the shipping label from my earnings. If I'm misunderstanding something, please help me out; as I see it, eBay is essentially charging me twice—since the customer pays for the shipping, yet eBay deducts that same cost from my proceeds as well. Hi @prosvera

The buyer pays the shipping cost at the time they paid for the item. You will eventually receive the buyer’s payment … minus eBay fees.

Whenever you purchase a shipping label … you have the option to pay for it with the buyer’s pending funds. [You’ll see that option at the very bottom of the screen where you purchase the shipping label.]

That doesn't even cover all my expenses—such as packaging materials, electricity, my time, and the actual cost of the merchandise.

They deduct is because your buyer is paying the shipping to you and then you use that money to buy the label. So the buyer IS paying for the shipping.
