shipping label
I had a purchase by two different customers. I print the shipping labels off packed my merchandise and sent. Only to find out later that the shipping label for one of the items was wrong and it shipped this item to someone else. So now I am out the product. I did contact the purchaser of the item and explained so she disputes the transaction (which is fine). Only resolution is that if the person it was sent to sends it back to me. How would you handle this.

Mentor11 months agoYou cannot force someone to return an item that was accidentally shipped to them.
Have you contacted the person that received the wrong item?

The one that went to the wrong buyer you can contact them in advance if they had not yet received it and let them know you would like it returned and issue them a refund as they will need to open a INAD (Item Not As Described) claim. Send them the following instructions (In quotes): "Go and take a look at your purchase history. You can find it on the top right of any Ebay page. Hover over the words My Ebay. A menu will appear, click on Purchase history. Find this transaction and follow the instructions that will appear on your screen to open a claim. All the information will be there.

1. Go to Purchase history.
2. Select More actions beside your item and then Select "Reiceived wrong item".
3. Tick the box beside I want a refund or I want the item.
4. You have the option of adding a message to the seller.
5. Select Send request."
The other label which was purchased (for the correct buyer), you can cancel it because nothing was shipped.
All of your shipments from the past 90 days can be accessed from the following paga. Simply go to Manage shipping labels and review the activity, look for actions area to cancel it.
