Shipping label
Hello, I recently just shipped an item that I overestimated on the weight by a lot. is it possible for eBay to issue partial refund on the shipping label that was purchased now that I know the exact weight? Thanks in advance.

No, eBay cannot issue a partial refund. If you used the label, even though it was wrong, your only chance at a refund is if usps catches it as the package moves through the system. I received a refund once, so it does happen.
If you have not sent the package yet, cancel the label and buy a new one. The refund for the cancelled label takes about 3 weeks.

What you should do is cancel the current label, and buy a new label with the correct weight.
Here's how to cancel (or void) a shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label. If you want to, you can add a message for the buyer.
- Select Cancel (or Void) shipping label.
The refund will come in about 21 days.
Then, you can print another label:
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Print Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your package and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.
