shipping keeps getting changed to FedEx.

Hi All,
On most all my ads, i list shipping as USPS. I only use FedEx on large items. Maybe 4 times a year do I use FexEx. The problem is, when an item sells, the invoice states "buyer selected FedEx shipping". On a few items now, I have contacted the buyer and asked if they indeed did select FedEx shipping and evey one said no. So, the question is, why are my adds putting FedEx shipping instead of USPS? How do I change it? I did ask eBay and they only want my money and will not help. Thanks Ray

I also looked at about a dozen listings and all but 3 showed FedEx shipping. Of the 3 that showed USPS one was for a first class package. That service was discontinued and became Ground Advantage several years ago.
You need to check what they are on eBay. If the shipping is not what you are entering on your listing service then you need to figure out why it is not transferring the information to eBay correctly. Go to your seller hub active listings page and add all your listings to the bulk editor. There is a column for shipping that will show what is offered on the listing.
The message on the sale will say a buyer chose a particular shipping option even when there is only one. Buyers will not be given a choice at checkout so they don't choose, they just get the default shipping.

Mentor2 weeks ago@triumphbsaparts Buyers can ONLY select the shipping methods that you offer on the listing. It is not possible for a buyer to choose a different shipping method.

Mentor2 weeks agoI clicked on 3 of your active listings. Two show shipping via USPS Priority and one showed Fed Ex shipping.
If you selected Fed Ex shipping on a new listing, every listing after that will also use Fed Ex shipping, unless you change it. Could that be what happened?

OP2 weeks agoHumm?? I don't think so. If I do select FedEx shipping on one ad, I change it on the next. But I don't see where I have ever done that. Thanks Ray
