Shipping items with lithium batteries using eBay labels (USPS Ground Advantage
Hi everyone, I have a question about shipping items that contain lithium batteries within the U.S. using eBay shipping labels.
I plan to use USPS Ground Advantage, and when I asked at the post office, they told me that even if I select Ground Advantage, the package must clearly show wording like “Not for Air Transport†or other lithium battery–related markings. Otherwise, they may reject it.
My issue is that when I purchase a shipping label through eBay, I don’t see any option to add this kind of warning or marking on the label itself.
For those of you who have shipped lithium battery items through eBay before:
• How do you handle this requirement?
• Do you add an extra sticker or write on the box manually?
• Is there something I’m missing in the eBay label settings
