Shipping Issues
Bought an item on 1/1/26. From tracking, the USPS received the item the following day. It was shipped from Ohio to Dallas, to Houston, Sort Facility to my local Post Office, then back to Ohio. I opened a case on 1/14 and asked Ebay Customer Service to step-in. Ebay decided to allow 14 days to allow it to ship again (on 1/31, the case was to have been decided).
Now, as of this morning, the case was extended another 10 days. After checking the tracking, it looks like the package started moving between cities in Ohio again on 1/28.
This is way too long! There is no way to discuss this with anyone at Ebay. Every time I try to go through customer service, I get back into a loop that the case is on hold until 2/10. This is infuriating. Had I known that there was going to be a 40+ day wait, I would have purchased elsewhere. Ebay, with all due respect, this is ridiculous. It seems obvious where the priorities are. Take money and provide no way for support or even a discussion. I will look at doing business elsewhere in the future.

Mentor8 months agoI suggest taking the tracking number down to your local post office and see if they can help you.
I ordered some ebay poly mailers a couple of months ago. They usually arrive in a few days from Las Vegas. When they didn't, I checked the tracking and saw that the package left Las Vegas, arrived in Phoenix, then down to New Mexico! From there, back to Phoenix, and finally to Anaheim. Someone in Fed Ex apparently placed it in the wrong bin and that it why it ended up in New Mexico.

OP8 months agoAlready opened a case with the USPS. They said that the package is no longer in Texas and they cannot help.

OP8 months agoWith all due respect, this was shipped WEEKS before any artic weather affected the US. This has nothing to do with this issue.

Mentor8 months agoThere have been massive weather problems across the country for the last several weeks. eBay is just allowing for areas of the country that are experiencing shipping problems. Although it is annoying to you it is also annoying to the seller who is also waiting for the package to get delivered. The last thing they want is to have to refund you and then have the package delivered. This has been a problem for all online seller and selling sites. Even Amazon has been allowing many more days for delivery than they normally have done and they deliver most of their own packages.
