Shipping issue - possible scam?
I won a rather rare item at a higher price. When I go to pay, eBay says there is an issue with shipping, that the seller does not ship to my location and that I need to update my shipping address or contact the seller. eBay will not let me pay for my item before this shipping issue is resolved. Both the seller and I are in the USA. When I contact the seller, he says that I should send a screenshot of the issue, item number, and payment to PayPal. I’m worried this is a scam but the seller has 100% positive feedback and well over 500 sales. Is this a scam that people are aware of? Do sellers encounter this issue in shipping and is it easily fixed?

·3 years agoDo NOT pay outside the eBay checkout system. The shipping issue could be a legitimate problem, the seller telling you to PayPal the payment is not.
