Shipping is expensive
All of my shipping is charged based on the size and weight of each item. I charge shipping costs. I do this to protect myself, as I have had some problems when providing free shipping when sellers end up buying from Hawaii or even California. I noticed that most of my items, including shipping, are cheaper than like items offered by other sellers with free shipping. Despite this, I am getting crushed by my buyers, stating that I charge too much for shipping (4.7 rating). What can I do? It is very frustrating, because I feel like some buyers may be more willing to pay what I consider to be a crazy amount for an item with free shipping, than they are for a right-priced item with an accurate shipping charge. Is this just a game of psychology that I am losing to buyers who may not be paying attention the the whole picture? It is sad really. If I sell something for $20 and charge $5 for shipping, they should realize that it I am actually giving them a better deal than the person selling it for $35 with free shipping. I also don't understand how eBay will allow people to ding me for free shipping when I'm using their shipping calculator. That makes no sense and should be remedied. Very frustrated here. Any thoughts?

·3 years agoYour feedback is excellent. I don't think very many, if any, buyers look that closely at the shipping stars. You're so close to 5.0 that it looks like you're there when just glancing at it. The main thing is that no one is putting any comments in your feedback about it.
