Shipping high value sports catds
I have been selling for maybe 6 months or so and have not sold anything too crazy. However, I pulled a CJ Stroud Kaboom 2023. Do sellers still charge for shipping and also what is the best/safest way to ship such a card after it has been bid on and paid for? Also insurance? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor2 years ago@spongernnc911 It's up to you if you wish to charge shipping or add it to the item price and call it free shipping.
You can purchase insurance for up to $5k for USPS packages on eBay. I would ship expensive items Priority and if the sale totals $750 or more ( including sales tax and shipping) then you MUST get a signature on delivery EVEN for shipment to the eBay Authenticity Guaranteed center. All cards that are listed for $250 or more will first be sent to the Authenticity center and then to the buyer.

I forgot to add that eBay changed the shipping label page so you will need to select Switch To Advanced on the upper right of the label page to have the option to add insurance. Insurance is added when you buy the label, not on the listing form, but you can include the cost of insurance in the item price.
