Shipping help
I sold and item and purchased the shipping label thru eBay but the buyer informed me that they had to go to the post office and pick them item up and pay an additional $20+ to get the item and I don’t understand how this could happen since I paid for the shipping label. Any idea? What should I do to make this right with the buyer?

There may not be anything to make it right with the Buyer ... you are a newer Seller, they could be lying to be honest.
In addition to the information that @comics-scifi-collectibles posted, you can take the ACTUAL package weight and dimensions and use the USPS shipping calculator to see what the cost was or should have been (get the Buyer's zip code for this). Retail Postage Price Calculator (usps.com)
Technically, if you made a mistake on the label purchased through eBay the APV system should have automatically picked up the mistake and charged YOUR account for the additional postage, NOT the Buyer upon receipt.

Mentor2 years ago@daige-sherr Ask the buyer for a copy of the proof that they paid the post office extra $. Then after you get that proof go to the sold listing and select refund from the drop down menu next to the sold item.
This type of shipping error is usually due to the package size or weight not being correct. If the package is just an inch over 1 cubic foot in ANY direction then there are dimensional weight surcharges. If you enter the information correctly on eBay when buying the label then I have never had it be wrong in about 20 years of selling.
Another reason for a surcharge would be a mismatch of packing material to label. For example you use a Priority Box and shipped via Ground Advantage, or a Flat Rate Priority Box but didn't use a flat rate label.
